Driggs to study water system

The city of Driggs has won a a $30,000 grant from the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality.The city will match the grant with an additional $30,000 in local funding.

The DEQ said the funds will be used to prepare a drinking water system facility planning study with accompanying environmental information.

The project will evaluate problems with leakage, distribution lines and flows, to plan for future growth and to develop alternative plans for needed improvements.
