Rexburg non-profit expands to new office space
A local non-profit is celebrating a million hours of service to orphans in developing nations.
The Rexburg-based Orphanage Support Services Organization (OSSO) is marking the achievement with some new office space.
OSSO is moving from a tiny, hidden office to a more prominent location at 56 East Main St. in downtown Rexburg.
The organization recruits volunteers from eastern Idaho to work in orphanages in Ecuador, and having a more accessible space will allow them to continue that work, while making it easier for volunteers to find them.
“We’re in a college town so we’re hoping being on Main Street we’ll get a lot of publicity with the college students and we’ll have more interest in our program and they’ll know our mission,” said OSSO volunteer coordinator Kiley Braithwaite.
OSSO will hold the first of three grand openings at the new offices on November 30 from 5:00 to 9:30 p.m. at 56 East Main Street in Rexburg.
