Rollover crash blocks I-15 in Pocatello

A rollover crash blocked Interstate 15 in Pocatello for about an hour Friday morning.

Around 8 a.m. a 16-year-old girl was driving southbound on I-15 just before the South 5th Street exit when she went off the right side of the road and overcorrected. Her vehicle rolled several times, coming to rest on its wheels in the left lane of southbound traffic. Traffic was blocked for about an hour while emergency crews responded.

The girl and her 51-year-old passenger, Ginger Cuttlers, also of Pocatello, were transported by ground ambulance to Portneuf Medical Center.

Both were wearing their seat belts.
