Change at the helm of Salmon-Challis National Forest

Salmon Challis National Forest Supervisor Frank Guzman has been named Assistant Director for Operations in the Fire and Aviation Organization at the National Interagency Fire Center in Boise.

Intermountain Regional Forester Harv Forsgren selected John Peterson as Acting Supervisor until the position is permanently filled. Peterson is currently serving as Deputy Supervisor on the Pike and San Isabel National Forests and Cimarron and Comanche National Grasslands in Colorado.

Both men will assume their new duties in early January 2013.
