Children’s Advocacy Center gets reaccredited

A local nonprofit got great news just ahead of the holidays.

The Snake River Children’s Advocacy Center, run by Help Inc., has been reaccredited by the National Children’s Alliance, the governing agency for Children’s Advocacy Centers nationwide.

Accredidation is the highest form of membership.

The Snake River center has been serving abused children in eastern Idaho since 2005, offering a safe haven for interventions, investigating cases and advocating for victims.

“Knowing that you’re providing those services to the highest degree is really important,” said Help Inc. Executive Director Brianna Koster. “As a whole investigative team, it really helps our community.”

The Snake River Children’s Advocacy Center helps about 250 kids each year.
