Sinkhole delays truck

Apparently, a Budweiser truck was not carrying light beer Wednesday morning.

In the parking lot of Dusty’s convenience store on Main and Bridge streets in St. Anthony, Lonnie Hodges and John Willingham, who work for Watkins Distributing, stopped to make a delivery when they felt the truck go down.

At first, they thought they lost a tire, but one of the wheels had sunk into a sinkhole.

It took three hours and two tow trucks to get the truck out, and it’s back on the road.
