Arco family wins Red Ribbon photo contest

An Arco family has been selected as a regional winner of the National Family Partnership’s 2012 National Red Ribbon Photo Contest.

The photo was submitted by the family of Arco Elementary School Principal Spenser Larsen. As a winning family, they will receive an iPad and one thousand dollar cash prize for the school.

“We are very grateful for this drug prevention money,” said Larsen. “Idaho’s Safe and Drug Free Schools funding has been gone for a couple of years. Our Red Ribbon Week and other drug prevention efforts come out of whatever funds we can scrounge up.”
