3 vehicles crash on U.S. 91
Three vehicles were involved in a crash on U.S. 91 south of Idaho Falls on Tuesday morning.
Around 7:50 a.m., Rebecka Tolliver, 31, of Shelley was traveling south in a 2001 GMC Sierra pickup. Tolliver failed to maintain her lane of travel and crossed over the center turn lane, colliding with a 2000 Ford Taurus traveling north being driven by Ty Pope, 32, of Idaho Falls, Idaho State Police said. Both Tolliver and Pope were transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
Kent Carlson, 71, in a 2006 Chrysler 300 and Irinda Passino, 33, both of Shelley, in a 2003 Toyota Prius, were also traveling north when Carlson’s vehicle became involved with the crash.
Passino swerved to avoid the crash, and went off the right shoulder of the roadway.
Both vehicles sustained minor damage and neither driver was transported.
All occupants of the vehicles were wearing seat belts. The crash is under investigation by ISP.
