Teton Village reports record winter business

Holiday ski business hit unprecedented levels at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort this Christmas.

The resort said it experienced record breaking skier day numbers for the month of December. And, driven by children’s programs, guided skiing and private lessons, Mountain Sports School had its best holiday period ever.

JHMR President Jerry Blann said, “The new Casper lift and improved intermediate terrain was received extremely well by our guests, and was key in the way the mountain handled the increase in skier visits so well.”

Blann said the entire mountain was open by mid-December with more than 16 feet of snow so far this season.

Chief Marketing Officer Chip Carey said those snow conditions are showing up in future bookings.
