Police: Man forges brother’s checks
A Rexburg man faces a five-count felony complaint for check forgery, and police said the victim was his brother.
Rexburg police said Addison Grantham Carter, 19, stole his brother’s checkbook, then forged his name on five different checks.
The checks varied from $40 to $600. Carter was being held on $75,000 bond in the Bonneville County Jail, where he was already in custody on unrelated charges.
