Man accused of stealing college ATMs
A Las Vegas man suspected of stealing two ATMs from the Idaho State University campus has been indicted by a federal grand jury in Boise on two counts of felony bank larceny.
According to the indictment, 57-year-old Clarence Edward Lancaster stole $9,000 from those machines and $39,760 from an ATM taken from the College of Southern Idaho in Twin Falls.
If convicted, Lancaster faces up to 10 years in prison, a maximum fine of $250,000 and up to three years of supervised release.
The case is being investigated by the FBI, Boise, Pocatello and Twin Falls police departments.
An arraignment date has not yet been set.
