Police get call of man waving gun

The area of Second and Holmes in Idaho Falls was blocked off Friday afternoon after police received a report of a man waving a gun at passersby.

As of 2:30 p.m., the roads were open.

The call came from a neighbor, who told police he was yelling and waving a gun outside an RV. Police responded and surrounded the RV. A woman and later a man came out.

Police said in a news release that they detained them for questioning. They said no arrests were made. A Local News 8 reporter saw a man being handcuffed, but officers did not find a gun and did not bring anyone into custody.
