RizeCon helping local businesses thrive

KIFI

A world of mentoring can be found at this year’ RizeCon event. Small businesses, the economic fabric of southeast Idaho, are getting help to succeed in our communities.

“There’s amazing businesses in this community. Amazing businesses. It’s what drives everything,” the founder of ;RizeX and RizeCon, Ryan Harris, said.

Through the second annual RizeX conference, business owner Renae Oswald was able to expand her business significantly. It’s her second time attending the event, and she says it’s helped her and her husband to grow their business.

“We were able to apply things we learned, and it has absolutely contributed to our business growing over this last year,” Oswald said.

However, the day’s breakout sessions and seminars weren’t limited to small businesses. Companies of all sizes gathered to learn ways to better their companies. The diversity of businesses is what contributes to the event’s success.

“This is the movement for bringing business owners together to grow business in this region,” Harris said. “It’s the conglomerate of all those people and bringing them together in a fashion that gives them an opportunity to connect, communicate and really grow their businesses.”
