Amber Alert canceled, 3 siblings found safe

UPDATE 8:19 p.m. The three children who had been reported missing have been found safe and are heading back to Montana.

Idaho State Police was advised of an Amber Alert for the children.

Around 3:00 p.m. Idaho State Police stopped with a motorist assist on State Highway 28 at milepost 131, near Salmon, in Lemhi County.

The vehicle was occupied by Tony Demontigny and Ellaura Wright with the three kids.

Both were taken into custody without incident.

UPDATE 3:40 p.m. Three siblings who had been reported missing from Great Falls have been located in Idaho and the Montana Department of Justice has canceled an Amber Alert issued for them.

The agency says two girls, ages 5 and 3, and a 1-year-old boy were found safe Thursday several hours after the alert was issued. They were believed to have been taken overnight by their noncustodial parents and were believed to be in danger because their parents have a history of drug use and violence.

The parents, 28-year-old Tony Demontigny and 30-year-old Ellaura Wright, were taken into custody. Officials did not say where in Idaho the children were found.

The children — Raelynn, Lianna and Tony — were discovered missing at 6:45 a.m. Thursday.

UPDATE 2:45 p.m. Cascade County Sheriff says the suspect’s phone was last pinged in the Salmon, Idaho area, and the vehicles are believed to be traveling as a caravan.

An Amber Alert has been issued for three children in Cascade County Montana.

The alert says the three children were taken during the night, possibly by non-custodial parents who have a history of drug use and violence.

The children are 5-year-old Raelynn Demontigny, 3-year-old Lianna Demontigny and 1-year-old Tony Demontigny.

Officials say the suspects are Tony Demontigny, 28, and Ellaura Wright, 30.There are two vehicles that they may be driving: a white Chevrolet Malibu (Montana license 2-224730B), and and a blue Chevrolet Tahoe (Montana license 2-22599B).
