Brush fire burns near I-15 in Pocatello

Fire crews have contained a fire burning in a Pocatello neighborhood and near Interstate 15 Saturday.

Pocatello and Chubbuck fire crews, as well as the Bureau of Land Management responded to the scene.

The fire started burning around 12:30 p.m. right behind Pocatello Eye Care, located at 246 N. 18th, and behind some homes there as well.

Firefighters kept the flames from reaching the interstate and nearby homes.
