Bones found in IF likely those of deer

Idaho Falls Police Department investigators have determined that bones found in the backyard of an Idaho Falls home last Saturday are those of a hooved animal.

Two anthropologists have concluded the bones were possibly those of a deer.

The bones, along with bits of clothing were found at a residence in the 400 block of Masters, where the homeowner was clearing space for a garden.

The police investigation is now closed.
