Rexburg man dies in truck crash

A Rexburg man driving a truck died in a crash in Lemhi County on Tuesday.

Glen “Bobby” McRae Jr., 23, of Rexburg, was traveling north on State Highway 28 in a 1998 International tractor hauling a trailer with a pup trailer. McRae drove off the right shoulder of the roadway and overturned his vehicle around 3:15 p.m.

McRae was pronounced dead at the crash.

A family friend said McRae was to be married in July. In addition to his fiancee, he also leaves behind an unborn child.

Fertilizer and diesel from the trailer spilled into the marsh. Lemhi Fire and Rescue was able to contain the spill, Idaho State Police said.

The accident is under investigation.

His family has set up a Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/DonateForBobby.
