Boy injured in accidental shooting

An accidental shooting injured a 17-year-old boy Tuesday afternoon.

Clark County Sheriff’s office said the boy was removing the .22 caliber rifle from the back seat of a vehicle when the rifle went off.

It happened at the Beaver Creek Farm in Clark County at about 4:10 p.m.

The boy was flown to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

The Sheriff’s office didn’t report the extent of his injuries.

They said the investigation is continuing.
