BYUI sets spring commencement

Brigham Young University Idaho will graduate a total of 1,893 students during spring commencement Tuesday, July 23 in Rexburg.

The university will award 685 associate degrees and 1,085 bachelors degrees during ceremonies at the BYU Idaho Center. According to the university, 1,089 students are female and 49 percent have served as missionaries for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Elder Robert C. Gay, a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy of the church, will be keynote speaker. Gay will be accompanied by Roger G. Christensen, Assistant to the Commissioner of the Church Educational System.
