Dump truck strikes power pole near Blackfoot
Idaho Power Company crews were working to repair a downed power line near Blackfoot Wednesday afternoon.
A dump truck struck the pole at approximately 1:52 p.m. Wednesday.
Initially, the outage affected 1,700 Idaho Power customers in an area near Mitchell Road, north of Blackfoot.
Power to almost all affected customers has been restored by 5 p.m. Wednesday.
