Idaho Youth Ranch opens new location

The Idaho Youth Ranch cut the ribbon on a brand-new store Friday.

The thrift store left its downtown Idaho Falls location for one on Woodruff, next to Winco.

The Youth Ranch helps kids who find themselves in difficult situations create promising futures.

Donations and proceeds from stores statewide allow them to work towards this mission.

Better parking, better donation areas, and better shopping prompted the move.

“This is one of our new format stores, where it’s a lot nicer shopping experience. Merchandise that makes it really easy and fun to shop, things like that make a really great environment for customers, so we can raise more money and help more kids,” said Jeff Myers, vice president of business enterprise for the Idaho Youth Ranch.

Donators do get a tax deduction, and the new store officially opens Saturday at 9 a.m.
