Toddler dies after being struck by vehicle

The 2-year-old boy hit by a vehicle pulling a trailer Wednesday in Chubbuck has died.

The incident occurred around 3:15 p.m. on the 700 block of Redman Street, Chubbuck police said.

The Idaho State Journal reports the boy died shortly after being airlifted to Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City on Wednesday. His name has not been released.

The department said the investigation is ongoing and further details are not available.
