South Fremont student arrested after bringing gun to school
A South Fremont High School student was arrested Tuesday for bringing a handgun to school.
The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office said high school administrators received a tip that the 14-year-old student from St. Anthony was carrying a gun.
According to Sheriff Len Humphries, the boy cooperated with deputies.
He was taken to Five County Detention & Youth Rehabilitation Center.
Investigation of the incident is continuing.
