Electricity restored to Rocky Mountain Power customers

Electricity has been restored to customers in Ashton, Rexburg, and St. Anthony,Rocky Mountain Power said.

The outage was blamed on a transmission line interruption. Rocky Mountain Power said it was not related to the massive outage that affected much of the same area Wednesday.

Power was fully restored about 8:10 a.m. Thursday. About 4,500 customers were affected.
