Teen delivery driver robbed

Idaho Falls police are looking for a person who attacked a 16-year-old female delivery driver Thursday night.

According to police reports, the driver for Get My Grub, Cheyann Saunders, was making a delivery to an apartment complex on the 500 block of Vassar Way at around 9 p.m. when an unknown person grabbed and pushed her, stealing food and cash.

“The only thing I wanted to do was run away, I was so scared,” said Saunders.

Police said the robber was wearing a multicolored ski mask, dark-colored ball cap, a dark-colored zipper jacket, and dark-colored sweats or pajama pants. The suspect was believed to be about 5 feet 6 inches tall with a skinny build.

Get My Grub delivery service owner, Jeremy Ferguson, said he is willing to do whatever he can to find the person responsible.

“Somebody knows something, the way it was orchestrated it was definitely set up. My thought is, if someone is willing to do a robbery for $111, I can beat that … and I will,” he said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Idaho Falls Police Department at (208) 529-1200 or Crimestoppers at 522-1983.
