Project would widen Grandview Drive

You can give your input on a $1.3 million project to widen Grandview Drive.

There is an open house in the City Council Chambers at the City Annex building from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday.

The plan would widen the road to five lanes from Skyline Drive to Saturn Avenue.

Most of the cost is to be covered by federal funds for highway projects. The city would cover about $95,000.

Construction would start in 2016.

The work would also include sidewalks on the north side of the road as well as a multi-use pathway on the south side.

If you can’t make it to the meeting, send your comments to City Engineer Kent Fugal at kfugal@idahofallsidaho.gov or by
calling (208) 612-8258.
