Group brings live theater to local schools

The Idaho Shakespeare Festival’s Idaho Theater for Youth tour is in eastern Idaho this week.

Every spring, the group tours a show to elementary schools all over the state. This year’s play was also co-written by three Idahoans, two of whom also star in the play.

Playwrights and actors Chad Shohet and Noah Moody said the play is based upon the Lewis Carroll poem, “The Jabberwocky.” However, they modified it to fit themes kids might relate to, included their own childhood experiences with bullying.
