Woman arrested in embezzling case

An Idaho Falls woman who police said embezzled thousands from her employer has been arrested.

Heather M. Garner was arrested at her home on a warrant for grand theft on Thursday morning.

Garner was arrested following an investigation that began in January. Idaho Falls police said Garner embezzled more than $10,000 from Syringa Properties, where she was employed as an apartment manager until December 2013.

She was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
