Police: Man confesses to Pocatello bank robbery

A man was arrested in connection with the robbery of U.S. Bank in Pocatello on Friday.

Around 3 p.m., the Pocatello Police Department was called to the bank on North Arthur. When officers arrived, they found William C. Reimer, 61, of Pocatello, outside the bank.

He was taken into custody without incident.

Police said Reimer gave a demand note to a teller and took an undisclosed amount of money. Reimer was not armed.

The money was completely recovered when Reimer was arrested.

Reimer confessed his involvement in the robbery, police said.

He was booked into the Bannock County Jail on a charge of robbery and will be held without bond until arraignment.
