1 dead in crash near Preston
One person is dead in a rollover crash south of Preston.
On Wednesday around 11 p.m., Kwintse Marley, 19, ofPreston, was traveling west on Cub River Road near 3200 East in a 2006 Ford Focus. For unknown reasons, the car left the road, rolled over an embankment and came to rest in a canal.
Marley was ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the crash, Idaho State Police said.
Passenger Kolton Bird, 21, of Logan, Utah, was transported by ambulance to Franklin County Medical Center in Preston.
ISP said neither Marley nor Bird was wearing a seat belt.
