Fire destroys Menan area garage
Fire caused extensive damage to a stand-alone garage near Menan Friday.
The Jefferson-Central Fire District was called to 726 North 3300 East at around 12:45 p.m.
Initial reports said motorcycles and cars were stored in the garage. Neighbors said property owners removed the cars.
The fire then spread to nearby hay bales. Firefighters are still on the scene.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
