Digital Content Director

NPG of Idaho (KIFI Local News 8) and VistaWest Media, LLC (KIDK Eyewitness News) are looking for a Digital Content Director.

The DCD is responsible for the companies’ web and mobile sites, including the area’s number one news source, localnews8.com. and KIDK.com. They are also responsible for our social media strategy.

Qualifications include having a journalism or communications degree and a good understanding of writing news content in AP Style. They must have good grammatical and spelling skills. They must also be a good leader to help other newsroom staff fulfill their digital duties.

Understanding HTML, Java, and other web technology is a plus, but not a requirement. This person will be using Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and other video editing programs.
