Man arrested after machete incident in Idaho Falls

An Idaho Falls man was arrested after police said he threatened another man with a machete Wednesday.

Officers were called around 3 p.m. to the 2900 block of South Yellowstone Highway after hearing about a man being attacked. When police arrived, witnesses told them Clinton A. R. Trimble, 40, swung a machete at a 34-year-old man.

Trimble was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
