Woman robbed at knifepoint
A woman was robbed at knifepoint in the Blackfoot area on Wednesday.
Around 2:20 p.m., the woman was walking on a path near Rose Pond. She told Bingham County deputies a Hispanic male who said he was selling something approached her.
“As she walked back to her vehicle another vehicle approached, and a second Hispanic male approached her in a vehicle and the first suspect caught up to her and brandished a knife,” the sheriff’s office said in a news release. “At this point she was robbed of some of her personal property.”
One of the suspects is described as 5’5″ and had dark slick backed short hair with a thin-grown goatee. He had a strong Spanish accent and was wearing gray or brown pants with a black or navy blue T-shirt with a logo the woman couldn’t identify on the back.
Their vehicle was a four-door, forest-green SUV with Idaho plates.
The sheriff’s office is looking for help from anyone who might have been in the area when this happened. If you have any information on this case, call (208) 785-1234.
