Names of police officers released in trespassing incident

The names of the Blackfoot police officers involved in a drunken trespassing incident have been released.

Jake Yancey, Andrew Adrignola, Ryan Anthony and Anthony Overby have been named in a incident report issued by the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.

On Wednesday, the Bingham County Prosecutor’s Office issued a statement saying one of its employees, receptionist Darci Anthony, was also involved.

On Aug. 5, the five were caught by deputies at the General Mill grain elevator in Rockford. Authorities said they were trespassing on private property while intoxicated.

General Mills will not be filing charges.

None are being fired, but both the police department and prosecutor’s office said they will be taking disciplinary action.

Reporter Bre Clark will have more on this story tonight on Local News 8 at 5 and 6 and KIDK Eyewitness News at 5:30.
