Teton school bond to go to voters again
The Teton School District 401 Board of Trustees will try again to gain voter approval of a $19 million school bond. Superintendent Monte Woolstenhume said the school board voted Thursday night to pursue voter approval in the November 4 general election.
Although the bond won a majority of the August 26 vote by a tally of 958 to 794, that was short of the two-thirds majority necessary to pass the bond.
The proposed bond would be used to replace elementary schools in Victor and Driggs plus additions and upgrades at two other elementary schools in Teton Valley.
