3 crashes near Blackfoot Saturday morning

State police said three crashes happened on Interstate 15 near Blackfoot Saturday.

The crashes happened in the southbound lanes of the interstate at milepost 94. State police said the first crash occurred when a Subaru driven by Laura Busby, of Oregon, was headed southbound, and swerved to avoid slowing traffic and struck the guardrail.

The second crash occurred when a Toyota Camry driven by Francis Park, of Billings, Montana, swerved to avoid a vehicle that was slowing due to the first crash and struck the guardrail. As Park’s vehicle came back into the lane of travel, after striking the guardrail, his vehicle was struck by a 2014 Dodge Challenger, driven by Heather Nielson, of Rigby.

No injuries were reported in the crashes. One lane was blocked while units investigated the scene causing some traffic. All lanes are now completely open.
