Family living with rare genetic disease

The Lears were reminded that life is truly precious.

Neuromuscular degenerative disorder is rare genetic disease. It basically just shuts down your body and can cause nerve damage.

Nine-year-old Aidan Lear passed away on Sunday because of this disorder. The two remaining sons, Jacen and Damon, have this same deadly disorder.

“His kidney and liver had shut down and then his heart was shutting down. The last thing to shut down was his heart,” says his mother Rachel Lear.

Thanks to Brian Wood at Wood Funeral Home, a fund was set up for the family. More than $10,000 has been raised.
