Missing Malad man found dead
UPDATE: The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office reports Bert Singleton has been located. In an email, the office says reports indicate Singleton died from falling in a mountainous area. No foul play is suspected. No other details were given.
The Oneida County Sheriff’s Office were looking for Singleton of Malad when he was reported missing Wednesday evening. They said he failed to return from a photography trip.
Singleton left Malad Wednesday morning to travel to the Bear Lake area to take photos of the fall colors. According to his cell phone company, his phone was last used at 11:26 a.m. in the Laketown, Utah, area south of Bear Lake.
Bert was driving a white 1998 Suzuki Sidekick with Idaho plates.
