Judge retention race left off the Teton County, Wyo. ballot

A key election was left off the Teton County, Wyoming ballot Tuesday.

The Teton County Clerk’s office reported the retention question regarding Ninth Judicial District Circuit Court Judge Wesley Roberts was left off the 2014 ballot.

The district covers Fremont, Sublette, and Teton Counties.

County Clerk Sherry Daigle said, “We simply overlooked this ballot question. It was a mistake and we will work with the State Canvassing Board to ensure we correct the error quickly and efficiently.”

The State Canvassing Board will meet next Wednesday to determine how to deal with the oversight.
