New prosecutor named for Bonneville County
Bonneville County commissioners have named Daniel “Danny” Clark as the county’s next prosecutor.
The commission made the decision Tuesday.
Clark is currently the Chief Deputy Prosecutor for the county. Commission Chairman Roger Christensen said Clark will succeed Bruce Pickett, who was elected to replace retiring 7th District Judge Jon Shindurling.
“My hope is that we continue what I think has been a good, sound, dedicated office,” said Clark. “From handling peoples business to handling the prosecution in this county and to administer justice in a fair and efficient manner.”
Pickett will take his place on the bench Jan. 5. Clark will be sworn in as county prosecutor in early January, but no firm date has been set yet.
