Togo’s Sandwiches opens in Idaho Falls

A new sandwich shop will open in Idaho Falls on Friday.

Togo’s Sandwiches had a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday at its location at 2994 S. 25th East.

To celebrate its opening, the sandwich giant is going to give away 1,000 hot pastrami and turkey avocado sandwiches. As of Tuesday night, the giveaway closed.

Franchise owner Ty Jenkins said he was excited to open his shop to the public.

“We’ve been working on this for almost a year,” he said. “We decided that we wanted to do a Togo’s franchise about a year ago, and it’s been a long time coming, but we found good locations here and Rexburg, and it’s a great day! We’re real excited!”

The new Togo’s in Rexburg is next to Rue 21.

The grand opening in Idaho Falls will take place Friday at 11 am.
