Superintendent’s wife arrested on sex charges
A local woman was arrested in Caribou County on Tuesday on 10 counts of intentionally or knowingly engaging “in oral sexual contact with a person under 18 years of age”
Marie Ellen Donaldson is the wife of North Gem School District Superintendent Curry Donaldson.
The alleged incidents took place when Marie Ellen Donaldson was a high school teacher in Arizona. The Cochise County, Arizona, Sheriff’s Office said Donaldson was 34 when she was in a relationship with a 16-year-old boy, Arizona Range News reports.
The sheriff’s office also said the incidents were “facilitated and witnessed by two of the victim’s schoolmates/friends.”
She is scheduled to appear in court in Arizona on Monday.
