Robbery suspect dies after being shot
A robbery suspect is dead after a shooting in Rexburg on Saturday evening.
Rexburg police said the suspect entered Walgreens on Main Street, where he tried to rob the pharmacy window at gunpoint.
Officers said he left the store, but shortly after they found him in the alley near KeyBank.That’s when shots were fired and the suspect was hit, they said.
The suspect was taken to Madison Memorial Hospital, where he died, police said.
No officers were injured.
