BYU-Idaho reports record enrollment

Brigham Young University-Idaho has more students off campus than on, the university said Friday when it announced record numbers for enrollment.

In Winter Semester 2015, 16,738 students were on campus, an increase of 7 percent over last winter’s campus enrollment of 15,625.

However, off-campus enrollment increased by 51 percent over last year to 17,979. The number was 11,895 last year. This includes online and Pathway students.

Other statistics the university released:

On campus, 51 percent of the students are female.
On campus, 25 percent of students are married.
