Pocatello police arrest stalking suspect

After he spent the weekend on the run, police arrested a Chubbuck man suspected of stalking Sunday.

Jordan James Hunt, 24, violated a no-contact order several times in the past few months, Pocatello police said. They said his victim had to be escorted to and from work.

Police tried to pull Hunt over Friday, but he took off. On Sunday, he texted the victim, officers said, and police were able to find him based off of that.

Hunt was booked on felony charges of first-degree stalking, as well as misdemeanor marijuana possession and eluding an officer.
