Walmart employee accused of stealing cash, gift cards

An Idaho Falls woman was arrested after police said she stole about $500 in gift cards and cash from her employer.

Police said Wednesday that Walmart management told officers Shawnna L. Castro, 42, had stolen about $160 in gift cards to make purchases at the store, as well as $330 in cash from the register.

Castro was arrested on a charge of burglary and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
