US 20 cleared after crash

A thirteen year old had to be airlifted to a local hospital after a traffic accident in Fremont County Friday afternoon.

Just after 4 p.m., Idaho State Police say 38-year-oldMarta Tuckett of St. Anthony, was travelling west crossing US-20 in an SUV, when she hit aPickup travelling eastbound on US-20.

Tuckett’s thirteen-year-old rear passenger was transported by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.

Tuckett and a three-year-old passenger were taken by ambulance to Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg. A 71-year-old passenger in the pickup, was also transported to Madison Memorial.

Idaho State Police say Tuckett and her thirteen-year-old passenger were not wearing their seat belts.

ISP saysThe investigation is ongoing. The Idaho State Police was assisted at the crash by the Fremont County Sheriff’s Office.
