Idaho Falls names new city clerk

The Idaho Falls City Council has named Kathy Hampton as the new city clerk. She will replace Rosemarie Anderson effective April 5th.

Anderson began her career in the idaho Falls Public Works Division 31 years ago. She has also worked in the Police Department, Personnel, Planning and Building, and Municipal Services offices under five mayors.

Hampton has worked for the city since April, 2007. She began her career in the Treasure’s office, before her appointment as deputy clerk.

Hampton is completing her training through the Association of Idaho Cities and Boise State University to become a Certified Municipal Clerk with the State of Idaho.
