Mock adult life teaches teens how to manage money
No one ever said growing up is easy.
High school students from across Eastern Idaho had the chance to experience adult life firsthand through a program called “Reality Town.”
Each student was given a budget and career at random and they had to manage life – everything from finding housing and paying utility bills to making investments and buying health insurance.
“This is a truly good experience for people who don’t know how to manage their money and be able to live on their own,” said student Michayla Lovell.
